Holding Second Local Training's Series within the Project "Increasing Participation of Local Jordanian Civil Society Organizations In The Humanitarian Response To The Syrian Crisis Through Planning Based On Gender"

Within the project “"Increasing the participation of local Jordanian civil society organizations in the humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis through planning based on Gender" implemented by the Arab Women's Association, the Arab Network for Civic Education - ANHRE and ACTED and funded by the Women's Fund for Peace and Humanity in five governorates in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (East Amman, Al-Zarqa’a, Irbid, Mafraq and Tafila).

      Four (4) local Trainings were held, which is the second series of local Trainings of the project in the targeted governorates to review CBOs initiatives and reflect on the progress of updating and reporting on the indicators, Provide participants with an overview about Project Cycle Management and to utilize it to advancing their initiatives and to achieve these objectives, the local trainings focus on three main areas (Reflect on the on-going initiatives that had already initiated locally by the targeted CBOs, Track the Gender sensitive indicators for evaluation, Project Cycle Management).

 

 

In addition what had been achieved in community initiatives had been reviewed and what had been successful, difficulties and lessons learned had been reviewed.

 

The local trainings workshop was on December 2018 in the governorates were held as follows:

 

- Local Training workshop in the governorate of Amman on 4th and 5th of December 2018 at AWO / Rainbow Street, with the participation of 16 women and girls from five local associations from Zarqa Governorate (Women Workers Association, Beit El Salam Association, Athar Association, Bushra Center) East Amman Association of Amman Governorate.

 

- Local Training workshop in the governorate of Amman on 7th  of December 2018 at AWO / Rainbow Street, with the participation of 20 women and girls from three local associations from Irbid Governorate (Dar Al-Yaqeen society, Al-Farooq Socity, Al-Rafeed Society).

 

 

- Local Training workshop in Mafraq Governorate on 11th and 12th of December 2018 at the headquarters of Afaq Jordan/ Mafraq Center with the participation of 20 women and girls from four associations from Mafraq Governorate (Arab Women Association, Asma bint Abi Bakr Association, Al Yusr Association, Jordan Horizons Center).

 

- Local Training workshop in Tafileh Governorate 13th of December, 2018 at the Jordanian Engineers Syndicate building, Tafila Governorate, with the participation of 12 women and girls from Tafila (Tafila Women's Association, Tafila Women's Forum, Al-Hasa Charity Association).

 

The Local Trainings workshops summarized the stages of project management, the monitoring and evaluation phase of the initiatives, the achievements of community initiatives, the review of successes, difficulties and lessons learned.
