The Bridging Program between Small & Medium Enterprises and Civil Society Organizations aims at building strategic sustainable development partnerships between civil society organizations and the private sector based on the concept of creating shared value. The project is funded by USAID and implemented by FHI 360.

 

ANHRE through PIF program was competitively chosen to participate in the Bridging Program between Small & Medium Enterprises and Civil Society Organizations aims at building strategic sustainable development partnerships between civil society organizations and the private sector based on the concept of creating shared value. The project is funded by USAID and implemented by FHI 360.

 

The bridging program provided two opportunities for PIF program. First, partnership with D1G website. An agreement was signed with D1G to make media coverage by having a webpage for ANHRE and another one for PIF.

 

Then ANHRE staff got a training that helped them in using this webpage. Second, a partnership with audio company, Masmou3 which signed an agreement with ANHRE to work with them to have audio stories for the values of the Play it Fair program. The stories will be in Arabic and English which will enrich human rights values among students by using audio stories.

 

ANHRE in cooperation with Masmou3 (for Audio Production and Publication) agreed on having seven stories that reflect seven human rights values. Masmou3 handed in their first draft of the stories, and ANHRE in it is place revised them to make sure of the language and the objective of each story. Then, the project team and Masmou3 representative went to Al- Nahda mixed school on 28/10/2013 in order to test the stories on the students. The students were very amused about the stories and through several questions they got to know the objective and the value of each story. We can say that it was good promised step in the successful impact of this program on the students and teachers as well. Furthermore, ANHRE and Masmou3 were very proud of this, and they continued in writing the stories and recording them in Arabic and English languages.
