The Arab Network for Civil Education-Anhar held a second training course for the project "Increasing the participation of local civil society organizations in the humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis through gender-based planning", implemented by the Arab Women's Association in partnership with Enhar Network and OCTED and funded by the Women's Fund for Peace and Humanity In 5 governorates in the Kingdom (Zarqa, East Amman, Irbid, Mafraq, Tafilah).
The workshop was held for 3 days during the period from 23-25 / 9/2018 with the participation of 15 participants from fifteen local associations involved in the project. The aim of the workshop was to consider the collection of gender-sensitive data in terms of data collection, successes and good practices as well as learning points and results, and to rely on the results of analysis of data obtained for the design of community initiatives responding to the Syrian crisis.
At the end of the workshop, the organizational capacity assessment tool for community institutions was introduced in the presence of the heads of the local associations involved in the implementation of the project. The project "Increasing the participation of local civil society organizations in the humanitarian response to the Syrian crisis through gender-based planning" is generally aimed at building the capacities and knowledge of local associations to integrate women and youth into their plans and programs in the context of the Syrian crisis and build their capacity to collect and analyze evidence-based data Sensitive species to influence decision makers more effectively.
